Captain America: Winter SoldierIndustrial Light and Magic have been responsible for a lot of the sorcery creativity behind the movies we’ve grown to love in Hollywood. It’s no different when it comes to Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. We had a glimpse at what work and dedication went into realising this film earlier this year at The Winter Soldier expo; the concept art and design translated well into the film. But what Industrial Light & Magic’s recent visual effects reel shows is that there’s a whole lot more to making a comic book film than wearing Nomex and screaming “action”. Even certain scenes you’d think would be simple straight-forward point/shoot actually exists in layers.
