Netflix continues its domination of the film streaming hemisphere as it reports its plans to transcribe Mark Millar and Leinil Yu’s comic Supercrooks into an anime series. This is part of the ongoing deal between Netflix and Mark Millar’s Millarworld franchise and Netflix’s policy of growing their anime catalogue.

Described as a “superpowered heist” comic, Supercrooks was a four-issue miniseries that follows Johnny Bolt as he leads a team of retired super-powered thieves through a heist in Spain. The series was published back in 2012.

And with the other franchises already out there like Kingsman and Kick-Ass, married the IP’s in the tuck, Millar’s potential to rival the big comic book turn film production houses is something one has to truly… marvel. Especially with the world distribution model that Netflix provides.
