It seems with regards to the current DCEU, there has been a lot of false starts and roadblocks for the Justice League heroes yet to get their solo movies. Particularly speaking The Flash movie.
Alas, the churning wheels of decision-making seem somewhat lubricated as news hits the interweb that, reportedly, the Flash movie has its eye on a new director in Andy Muschietti. The director is the guy behind IT and IT: Chapter 2.
John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who wrote drafts of the script and were slated to helm the project, have moved on. However, Ezra Miller, the actor who has long been attached to star as the fleet-footed hero, remains on board to star.
The original script that Miller co-wrote with comics author Grant Morrison, however, has been dropped. Instead, Warners will hire Christina Hodson, the scribe behind Bumblebee and the studio’s upcoming DC movie Birds of Prey, to tackle the script.
Is this a good move on WB/DC?
More as things develop.
