“Sonic The Hedgehog 2” trailer brings classic Robotnik and the furball trinity to the movie screen
You fast and all, but run dem hands though!
Jim Carrey’s Robotnik returns to our world, this time with the signature ‘stach and blue-hatin’ hench machines to take on the blue speedster in the new trailer for Sonic 2. And power is just within his grasp.
But Sonic isn’t the only furball we’ll have to contend with, as the iconic tales also joins in on the shenanigans.
And there is one other who’s the yin to Sonic’s yang and whose love gloves are only meant for dealing out the worst kind of pain – Knuckles – voiced by Idris Elba.

The world’s favorite blue hedgehog is back for a next-level adventure in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2. After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.
