Darkness descends on the galaxy as Star Wars intros to us a cinematic for their newly announced game title. And as the fog and cacophony of war looms low with every lightsaber drawn and battalions rattled up to a frenzy, the war drums give rise to an obsidian black evil like none other ever seen in the times of the High Republic.

The strangely horror-filled sound design and The Chronicles Of Riddick vibes, the Star Wars Eclipse cinematic reveal trailer does much to enthrall the senses.

And the reason this game feels different becomes resoundingly obvious when you consider the developer is Quantic Dream, the guys behind Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human
