Hypotheticals are always a fun musing that has made creating narratives a masturbatory and engrossing process. And it is no different with this narrative arc that proved successful with Marvel Comics and now the animated series – What If…?
So if you ever had a burning desire to know what would happen if, say Tony Stark got rescued by Killmonger out in the desert? Essentially circumventing that life-critical event that spurred him to create the Iron Man suit and hang up his weapons dealer jacket for more philanthropic endeavours. Well, this one is for you.
Posing some unique twists to characters and their positions in the MCU, this series should be a nice study into character and what makes them tick. Hopefully, it goes deeper into the concept of villainy and heroism being a flip of the coin and circumstance.
