“Wonder Woman 1984” marks the 1-year countdown to its premiere with its first poster

Whilst WB will not be showing up in any capacity to Hall H for Comic-Con, director Patty Jenkins and actor Gal Gadot could not contain their excitement as they unleash the first official poster for the coming Wonder Woman sequel – Wonder Woman 84.

And the poster is a kaleidoscopic attack of colour with the DC heroine front and centre in warrior’s armour.

Patty Jenkins also took to Twitter that the promotional campaign for the film is slated to begin December of this year and that no news about the film will be released at Comic Con this year.

This follows news of the film boasting a huge choreographed scene with 2000 extras.

Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman / Diana Prince, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Kristen Wiig as the supervillain Cheetah, and Pedro Pascal.

Wonder Woman 84 is slated for cinematic release come June 5, 2020
