Titan Comics sets to build on the sci-fi blockbuster film franchise Blade Runner with a partnership with Alcon Media Group. The partnership will birth new books, comics and graphic novels based on the prolific sci-fi.

The narratives will exist on the timeline of Ridley Scott’s first Blade Runner film made in 1982, as well as last year’s Blade Runner 2049
The Titan Comics effort has been described as “a variety of publications focused on the visual and technical sides of the production process.”
Outside of a 1982 Marvel comic book adaptation of Ridley Scott’s original movie, this will be the first time Blade Runner has been translated into comics, although Boom! Studios adapted the source material — Philip K. Dick’s Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep — in 2009, with an original prequel miniseries released the following year.
Editorial duties will be shared by Titan’s David Manley-Leach and Alcon’s director of publishing Jeff Conner. More information about the line will be released in the coming months.
More as things develop.
