It seems like Solo: A Star Wars Story was the last blandest straw that broke the Bantha’s back, as Disney’s plethora of planned Star Wars spin-off cash cows are currently suspended.
According to Collider, sources in the Disney LucasFilm camp leaked the decision to place any plans for new spinoffs on hold. Efforts will be, instead, focussed on delivering Star Wars: Episode IX and the next trilogy that follows.

So that means the Obi-Wan Kenobi, Boba Fett, the rumoured Jabba The Hutt films are all shelved for the time being.
But is this move a little too late? And is revisiting old iterations of IP a smart move for the cinema as opposed to say a TV series, a more fitting format in our opinion? Been saying this since goddamn Rogue One.
