
Since the news of the cancellation of FX’s Deadpool animated series, we were disappointed to say the least, particularly hearing Donald Glover’s departure had the exec euphemism of “creative differences” attached to it.

But Donald Glover took to social media to clarify a few things, saying “for the record: I wasn’t too busy to work on Deadpool”. I guess this was one strand of thought, given the Han Solo film and the Atlanta series that Glover appears in. And then there is the music side of things too. Multi-talented mofo.
What followed was a Twitter string of the funniest script for an episode entitled Finale from the now cancelled Deadpool animation series. Most certainly worth the read.
Oh, what could’ve been. It is also reported that the script was a mock that Glover cooked, which breaks even more 4th walls and thumbing his nose at the powers that be – Marvel and the industry. That in itself makes it that much more awesome if true…
