We understand that casting can make or break any film production, But case in point, Valiant Comics potentially could hit all the right check points with their upcoming television series Quantum and Woody.
Community-star Joel McHale is reportedly in talks for starring in the action comedy TV series Quantum and Woody.
McHale, if he gets the role, would star as Woody Henderson, described as a wisecracking, womanizing slacker, who is the antithesis of his regimented adoptive brother. Henderson is granted unpredictable super powers from a pair of energy control bands the duo discovers whilst investigating their own father’s death. The two are now stuck with each other — they must “klang” the bands together every 24 hours or their powers will kill them.
And Valiant may be next up in the comic-film era of prolific franchises making the screen, with Jared Leto reportedly in negotiations to take the lead in Valiant’s Bloodshot feature film at Sony, to be directed by Blur Studios’ Dave Wilson from a script by Oscar-nominated writer Eric Heisserer.
Meanwhile, Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Dave Bautista announced on Twitter recently that he is attached to star in the upcoming “Eternal Warrior” film.
More as things develop.
