
Sad news has come out of the Deadpool 2 camp as there has been a death on set.
Joi SJ Harris, the first licensed female African American road racer in the US, was killed on Monday morning in Vancouver, Canada.
The stuntwoman who died in a motorcycle accident while filming Deadpool 2 where she lost control of the bike, jumped a curb and crashed into a building. She recently performed the stunt several times successfully.
Deadpool 2 star Ryan Reynolds said he was “heartbroken, shocked and devastated” at her death.
Production on the film has been temporarily halted.
It’s never a good thing like this to happen on set. And we like to give our condolences to her family and friends and the cast and crew. Be safe, gang.
