DC + NBC’s “Powerless” TV series gets cancelled

Wow. before the first season was even complete, the DC + NBC comedy series Powerless gets the axe.

The series was pulled from NBC’s original 8:30/7:30c timeslot and it seems that we possibly won’t even get to see the rest of the season. There was also an actual episode that featured the legend Adam West, which may not even see the light of day.

Not great news for the first ever DC comedy series.

All a bit contrived if you ask me, the constant references to Bruce Wayne and Batman got a bit tedious way too quickly.

But as far as the comedic comic series, it’s still up in the air as to whether Marvel will fair better with New Warriors, or maybe Valiant’s Quantum And Woody will be the first successful series to bring the hero and the funnies.
