Actor Michael K. Williams confirmed for “Han Solo: A Star Wars Story” movie

michael l williams, han solo, han solo: a star wars story, star wars, the action pixel, entertainment on tapActor Michael K Williams has joined the untitled Star Wars project Han Solo movie.

It was reported the actor was in negotiations for an undisclosed role for the coming Star Wars spin-off film but it Star Wars recently took to social media to confirm the casting.

 

Recently the core cast for the film was revealed and shooting began in late February.

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are directing the untitled Han Solo Star Wars movie from a script by Lawrence and Jon Kasdan, with a cast that includes Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Thandie Newton, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, with Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca.

The movie will be produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur, Simon Emanuel, and co-produced by Kiri Hart, Susan Towner, and Will Allegra. Lawrence Kasdan and Jason McGatlin will executive produce.

The events in the untitled Han Solo movie is set prior to the events of the original Star Wars trilogy
