Alden Ehrenreich to play young Han Solo in “Star Wars”

Seems Disney has found their young Hans Solo in actor Alden Ehrenreich for the coming standalone film. According to a report from Deadline the Hail, Caesar! actor has been cast to take the mantle of Hans Solo from Harrison Ford. Disney has yet to confirm the news.

The new Star Wars Han Solo movie is stated to take place prior to the events of Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.

No other details are known other than the title may be “Han Solo: A Star Wars Story.”

And with Michael B Jordan rumoured to play Lando, it seems things are summing up somewhat nicely.

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are directing the Han Solo movie.
