“Marco Polo” actor Benedict Wong cast in “Doctor Strange”

Marvel revealed recently that Benedict Wong, the actor known for his work in The Martian and Netflix’s Marco Polo has been cast in Doctor Strange as the good doctor’s companion in all things supernatural.

His character, named Wong, is described as a ‘sidekick’ / assistant of sorts, who:

…performs healing duties, assists in occult matters, is knowledgeable in martial arts, and tends to Strange’s affairs. Among his functions is to look after Strange’s body when the hero is astral projecting himself into other dimensional planes.

Marvel’s Doctor Strange is slated for release November 4^th 2016
