agent carter. season 2. marvel. abc. the action pixel. @theactionpixel. obamaMarvel and ABC announced that the two-hour season premiere they had planned for Marvel’s Agent Carter will be subject to delay by 14 days, thus premiering on January 19 as opposed to January 5.

The reason? Obama. Well, to be more precise, the January 12th date for President Barack Obama’s State of the Union Address, would pre-empt the second episode and likely create scheduling problems for the first half of the season.

The series will have a two-hour debut similar to season one, running from 9 p.m. ET/PT until 11 for its premiere before going to a 9 p.m. one-hour time period for the remainder of its ten-episode run.
