Being the Halloween season, it was only right for Gun Media to reveal a bit of a preview from the Friday The 13th: The Game.
Of course people have Jason Voorhees and hockey masks together in the ‘things I don’t want to see near me in the dark’ box. But for true horror fans who know the film sequels for Friday The 13th, the hockey mask only became synonymous with Jason in Friday the 13th Part III (1982).
Before that, Jason went the ‘Year One Daredevil’ route and threw a bag over his head. Burlap Sack Head. With one peep hole in it.
So see the concept art taking it back to Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981) with Voorhees telepathically soothing a man’s mind. Or crushing her head with his bare hands. Hard to tell with a static image:
Then again, looking in the background, that certainly is not the proper use for a pick ax, Voorhees.
