“Gambit” finds new director in Doug Liman
Director Rupert Wyatt, who was set to lead the charge in the making of the 20th Century Fox / Marvel film Gambit, left the project, things have been quiet re the Cajun.
Now, Doug Liman reportedly is now set to direct the Gambit movie starring Channing Tatum.
Doug Liman is known for his work on films like Edge of Tomorrow, Jumper, Mr. and Mrs. Smith and The Bourne Identity.
Gambit, starring Channing Tatum (21 Jump Street, Magic Mike) and Lea Seydoux (SPECTRE), with the script written by Josh Zemuter, based on a treatment by Chris Claremont. Channing Tatum, Reid Carolin, Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg are also set to produce the film.
Gambit is scheduled for release in cinemas on October 7th2016
