Deadpool‘s shutting down Vancouver

Things are surely in full swing for Fox’s (and Marvel’s) Deadpool, having teased us with that hilarious test footage, castings of Gina Carano and Morena Baccarin, pictures of costumes and photoshoots. And with the awesome homage to the iconic Burt Reynolds picture and Ryan Reynolds trolling us, filming commences!

And what’s first on the agenda? Shutting down Vancouver bridge for a car chase with swords, guns and simulated fires and theatre smoke. Obviously. The film production of FOX’s Deadpool will be restricting the use of the Georgia Street Viaduct from Sunday, April 5^th to Thursday, April 16^th. So if you are in the general vicinity of Georgia Street in Vancouver, well, don’t be surprised if you see and hear explosions, gunfire, cars crashing and a man in an imitation Spidey outfit screaming something maniacally about chimichangas.
