SUPERGIRL CASTS HANK HENSHAW & ALEX DANVERS

Supergirl has cast new actors. David Harewood (Homeland) will play Hank Henshaw, who is Cyborg Superman in the DC Comics. Also, Grey’s Anatomy Chyler Leigh gets the role of Kara Zor-El’s the foster-sister.

Though typically portrayed as Caucasian in comics Harewood character ties in well with the Smallville tie-in comic series. But Supergirl won’t be shying away from representation as black actor Mehcad Brooks will take on the role of Jimmy Olsen.

CBS’ Supergirl series is slated to debut Autumn 2015
