Channing Tatum to star in Gambit film
Channing Tatum has not been very subtle about his desire to play the card-dealing Cajun Gambit. Well it seems dreams do come true as Fox has confirmed Gambit, the feature film starring the 21 Jump Street star.
Gambit has been a favourite of ours to be realised on film for a hot minute, so we are happy at the news for sure. This makes the third X-Men related film to hit cinemas next year, with X-Men: Apocalypse and a Deadpool film also set for 2016.
In X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Gambit made a cameo, played by Taylor Kitsch and to fans detriment, lacked the much loved Cajun accent. But the rebooted character will surely come with his charm and accent intact and cards decked and dealt with devastating accuracy.
