“Uncharted” movie gets a director

Uncharted franchise has escalated its plans for a cinematic release for their first film by attaching Stranger Things‘ Shawn Levy as director to the project.

Originally, Sony Pictures had Uncharted‘s film release date was pencilled in at June 30, 2017, but news comes that the movie is in development and to expect a new release date to be announced soon.

So it looks like Nate Drake will be swinging in onto our silver screens as early as next year. Hopefully its a step way up and removed from Indiana Jones.
