Halois on the verge of a resurgence as news of not one, but two games are set to be released in the franchise next year 2026.
If you are hoping that one of these two forthcoming titles is Halo 7, I am sorry to burst your bubble, but ’tis not to be. However, word around the water cooler is that one of the games is said to be a remake of Halo: Combat Evolved. The talk is also the remake will pull from the recent success seen with CAPCOM’s Resident Evil remakes. So better graphics and mechanics.
And battle royale may be what the second game is shaping up to. There will also be a standalone live-service multiplayer Halo game. This likely will be Fortnite-esque, though the likeliness of the franchise treading new ground and building on their own lore is high and the best case scenario.
So, will you be looking forward to seeing the Master Chief in action in 2026?
