Death’s hellmouth cannot swallow revenge as the justice takes the form of the forsaken in the official trailer for comic book-inspired The Crow. Fans will remember the dark, ethereal comic book, and prolific 90’s series. So to see this return in some capacity to the modern day screens is a right riot.
And of course we already hear the feminists screaming ‘fridging’, but what else is supposed to motivate a man to defy death itself to right the wrongs in a bloody campaign of righteous vengeance?
Description reads:
Bill Skarsgård takes on the iconic role of THE CROW in this modern reimagining of the original graphic novel by James O’Barr. Soulmates Eric Draven (Skarsgård) and Shelly Webster (FKA twigs) are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.
