Aang steps into his destiny in the Netflix trailer for “Avatar: The Last Airbender”

The Fire Nation begins its scourge of conquest in the sprawling official trailer of Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Aang and his friends is all that will stand in the valley of destruction as the final great hope for peace lies in the hand of the young Avatar.

The attention and faithfulness to detail is by far the most striking thing you will witness, particularly for the fans of the animation series. That aside, the only hope is it is not as full regurgitation.

And we love Appa. Because it just needs to be said.
