Mechanised ninja… from space?! A new fighter comes to “Tekken 8” in new gameplay reveal

Many colourful characters have graced the arena in Tekken’s illustrious history. But things get escalated with an introduction of the celestial meeting the feudal with the reveal of a new contender that goes by the name of Yoshimitsu.

And while the concept of a ninja was glorious enough, add the extra layer of it being a cyborg elevates things. Further still, a mechanised ninja from the reaches of space? Well, the devastating combos your about to see is worth the convoluted character origin story.

And let’s be honest, every Tekken iteration is waited upon with baited breath by fans, in part, just to see the design of Yoshimitsu.

Bandai Namco’s Tekken 8 is slated for release on nex-gen consoles come January 26, 2024.
