After personally still reeling from the abysmal final entry in the DCEU via The Flash coming to an expectedly awkward, fandom-pandering amalgamation of confusion, it seems James Gunn is happy to move forward with the DCU. And with that comes the casting of both Superman and Lois Lane for the first film up in the roster – Superman: Legacy.

A lot surely hinges on getting this right. And it seems the search is over as DC announces that actor David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan have been chosen to take on the role of Clark Kent and Lois Lane respectively in the coming DC Studios film.

And with the main character search out of the way, the hunt continues as Gunn is reportedly on the lookout for who will play Superman’s arch-nemesis Lex Luthor, as well as other supporting characters like Kent’s friend Jimmy Olsen.

More as things develop.
