Ryan Reynolds teases a ‘completely new’ Wolverine for “Deadpool 3”
It was no secret that actor Hugh Jackman treated Logan like his opus and final act as the character Wolverine after over a decade playing the character.
So when Ryan Reynolds revealed he would return as the beloved adamantium-clawed mutant, we knew there was some convincing involved to get the actor back on board. And indeed their was.
Ryan Reynolds expounded on this in a recent EW interview:
I think he [Jackman] was ready. I think he was excited. What we pitched him was enough of a divergence from the character that he knows and the character that he’s left behind that it gives him something completely new to play and something that he’s really excited to do.
This along with Stefan Kapicic’s Colossus and Morena Baccarin who played Deadpool’s love interest making a return, it looks like 20th Century Fox’s/Marvel-alum are making a big splash in the MCU.
