It looks like Netflix mode of operation for bringing the Cowboy Bebop anime to the world of live-action for their upcoming series starring John Cho is to emulate the icon, standout sequences that help propel the anime to the top tier list of cinema.

This is no more apparent than in the latest still/BTS image hails from the icon fight sequence orchestrated against the contrapuntal backdrop of a church, a scuffle that came complete with explosions, guns, and swords. In the anime, the climax pits a final face-off between a bloodied Spike and the villain who truly lived up to his name – Vicious.
