Actor Michaela Coel gets cast in Marvel’s “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”
Storm or Slay?

Marvel has begun churning the wheels of production of the sequel to the Black Panther movie – Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – as new casting news hits the blogosphere.
Actor Michaela Coel is set to make an appearance in the Black Panther sequel. Details on her exact role is currently being kept under wraps, but many hypothesize she will be the film’s ‘nemesis’ portraying the infamous Madame Slay.
Coel is best known for her Emmy nominations for her HBO Max series I May Destroy You.
The sequel has already proven to be a difficult one from both an emotive and technical standpoint, with actor Angela Bassett (who plays Ramonda) speaking on the many drafts the Black Panther 2 script has undergone. Not to mention Winston Duke (who plays M’Baku) voicing how emotive it was for him to return to the sequel, particularly without the late-Chadwick Boseman.
Production on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever began a month ago in Atlanta’s Pinewood Studios.
More as things develop.
