Marvel Studios “Captain Marvel 2” and “Black Panther 2” get official titles announced
Phase 4 is well on its way
Marvel Studios has taken to the public to reveal for the first time the official titles of the forthcoming sequels to Black Panther and Captain Marvel movies.
Black Panther 2 is entitled Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Captain Marvel 2 is official titled The Marvels.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be a tough one to take in, in light of the passing of actor Chadwick Boseman who played the role of the titular T’Challa. The director has however reassured audiences that the film will respectfully pay tribute to the memory of the actor, part of which includes no 3D/VFX renderings or deepfakes.
As for The Marvels – the Captain Marvel sequel – Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers is set to join up with Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan from the Ms Marvel Disney+ series.
Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is slated for cinematic release come July 8, 2022
Marvel Studios’ The Marvels movie is slated for cinematic release come November 11, 2022
