“Resident Evil” reboot movie production gets wrapped
Next stop Raccoon City?
Resident Evil’s venture to revitalise its film endeavours has hit another milestone as primary photography has wrapped on set. The social media announcement featured an image of the RE clapboard beside a TV set with strobing white noise.

That’s a wrap in Raccoon City. 🎬

Constantin and writer-director Johannes Roberts said Tuesday that he has authored an official origin story adaptation with faithful ties to Capcom’s classic survival horror games. The narrative will take it back to the fateful night in Raccoon City in 1998 when containment of the T-Virus was compromised, which began humanity’s descent into zombie hell.
And whilst Constantin has been wholly responsible for turning a survival horror classic into an action movie franchise, we hope Roberts remains true to his ‘faithful’ adaptation.
