“Our Encounters with Evil” graphic novel seeks to add on to “Hellboy”-creator’s legacy.

Hellboy‘s Mike Mignola looks to use the momentum of the coming film reboot of big red to give us even more comic scenarios that make a brush with the supernaturally nefarious forces with a new graphic novel. The comic is entitled Our Encounters with Evil.
Johnson-Cadwell, who writes and draws the graphic novel, said in a statement:
We join this trio as Professor Meinhardt recounts three of their ‘Encounters With Evil. These stories take us through the dark-hearted Hornetwood, across the diabolic Blackwater Falls, and into the hands of a deadly hunter.
Mignola promises the graphic novel will bring fans a “world of vampires and related monstrosities like nothing you’re even seen before”:
Warwick brought an insane amount to energy and invention to Mr. Higgins Comes Home— more ideas than could ever fit into that one book — so I was thrilled when he told me he wanted to continue the adventures of Meinhardt and Knox.

Our Encounters With Evil: Adventures of Professor J.T. Meinhardt and His Assistant Mr. Knox is slated for release starting October 9, 2019.
