Paramount, whilst celebrating the arrival of Bumblebee currently in cinemas, has announced news on the future of the Transformers film franchise post-Michael Bay. Currently Paramount has confirmed that there are two new Transformers projects in the works.

One of the projects will be a narrative based on the leader of the Autobots. Yep, an Optimus Prime solo movie.

The second project will be an animated film that will be based on the origins of the Transformers’ home world – Cybertron.
