“DOOM” is returning to the video game film arena
Hope you all caught that awkward exchange between Dwayne Johnson, bragging about (supposedly) ending the video-game film curse with Rampage, and the priceless reaction from DOOM’s Twitter account reminding the big lug of his video game film roots.

But it seems like DOOM really took things to heart and it is reported that a new film based on the gaming franchise is in development via Universal Pictures.

DOOM the first movie, was done way back in 2005, and though not the worst video game movie ever, it’d still make the list.
So what do you guys think. Will they get it right the second time around? More along the vein of Alien? All out carnage? Or another pulpy straight-to-DVD hell (or Netflix) kinda spectacle?
