In the new “God Of War” ad, the lessons of war forges a metallic bond betwixt father and son.
God Of War solidifies the bond between Father Kratos and son in a forgery of blood, bone and iron in the new commercial for the game, and it looks like a pat on the shoulder or the soft encouraging word is out of the question.
But hey, shit is intense, and there is no time to wallow in the defeat of the misstep. Or even in the well-placed arrow for that matter.
Description reads:
From Santa Monica Studio and creative director Cory Barlog comes a new beginning for one of gaming’s most recognizable icons. Living as a man outside the shadow of the gods, Kratos must adapt to unfamiliar lands, unexpected threats, and a second chance at being a father. Together with his son Atreus, the pair will venture into the brutal Norse wilds and fight to fulfill a deeply personal quest.
