Uncharted as you may know is one of the next franchises up for a film adaptation. And as it turns out, Joe Carnahan has officially finished writing the script for the film. This sets the wheels in motion for Uncharted to actually begin production later this year.

The director of The Grey and the upcoming Bad Boys 3 recently took to his Instagram to reveal the finished script for Uncharted:

Done and Dusted. Now the REAL work begins. If there's a more monstrously cool action script in Hollywood right now, I wanna read it, 'cuz this thing is a BEAST.

And with Stranger Things‘ Shawn Levy set to direct, things seem to be going confidently forward for the Sony / Naughty Dog camp.
