Tyler Hoechlin cast as Superman in CW’s “Supergirl” Season 2

Looks like we’ll be seeing more than Superman’s silhouette come season 2 of Supergirl. Teen Wolf’s Tyler Hoechlin has been cast in the roll of the Last Son Of Kryton- Superman / Clark Kent in the second season of Supergirl series.

Hoechlin’s Man Of Steel is set to appear in the first two episodes of Season 2, visiting his cousin in National City.

And with Supergirl moving over from CBS to the CW, rest assured we’ll be getting a super Flash / Arrow / Legends Of Tomorrow / Supergirl crossover.

Tyler Hoechlin spoke on the news:

“Greg [Berlanti] and I have wanted to work with Tyler for ages, so this worked out perfectly because Tyler is Superman,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said. “We are so thrilled and humbled to add another amazing actor to the legacy of this iconic character.”

Supergirl Season 2 is slated for a return on October 2016 on The CW
