“Daredevil” Charlie Cox contributes his poor “Han Solo” audition to his lack of making eye-contact

Looks like all of Charlie Cox’s time in Hells Kitchen has affected his ability to act in another Disney-owned universe… Star Wars.

The actor, known for his prolific role as Matt Murdock / Daredevil in Marvel + Netflix Daredevil series, has also auditioned to play Han Solo in the coming reboot.

The role, as you know went to Alden Ehrenreich.

But Cox didn’t get the part, and a contributing factor may very well have been his breaking the cardinal rule of social interaction:

I realized I had gotten into a habit of not making eye contact, because the only thing I had done for two years is play someone who is blind

But we suspect he’ll be busy with Daredevil in the future and his parts in Broadway plays coming up.
