Bryan Cranston is Zordon in “Power Rangers” reboot film

Prolific actor Bryan Cranston has joined the cast in the Power Rangers reboot film as the almighty Zordon.

Apparently, this is not the first time Cranston has been apart of the franchise. Cranston previously appeared on the original “Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers” series voicing villains Twin Man and Snizzard for the English dub. This time, he’ll be the Rangers’ mentor.

Power Rangers‘ synopsis reads:

Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.

Power Rangers stars Becky G as Trini, the Yellow Ranger; RJ Cyler as Billy, the Blue Ranger; Naomi Scott as Kimberly, the Pink Ranger; Ludi Lin as Zack, the Black Ranger; Dacre Montgomery as Jason, the Red Ranger, and Elizabeth Banks stars as the villain, Rita Repulsa.

Power Rangers is slated for cinema release come March 24^th 2017
