Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson cast to play Doc Savage, the world’s first comic superhero

With Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s personality and physique, it’s not too far a stretch of the imagination that he’d be a shoe-in to play many superhero characters in live-action. Now, apart from Black Adam in Shazam! (and lets not forget the 80’s arcade game film Rampage), The Rock is now set to play Clark ‘Doc’ Savage. Essentially a character who is the first known superhero as we know them today. Known as the Man of Bronze, Doc essentially was the prototype that influenced the very essence of Superman. That’s kinda big.
