It’s been a hot minute since Gears of War 4 premiered their tease at E3 2015. Now not only do we have a look at the cover art for the next installation in the Gears of War franchise, we also have a release date for this October!

Not only that but beginning on April 18, fans who’ve played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One or Windows 10 will be able to join the beta on Xbox One, which will expand to all Xbox Live Gold members on April 25.

Gears Of War 4 is slated for release on the Xbox One come October 11th 2016
