“The Punisher” solo series is coming to Netflix

Our cumulative dreams have come to fruition. It looks like The Punisher’s reign of godly justice is far from over as Jon Bernthal is set come in guns blazing for a solo series as the Punisher.

The series has been ordered by Netflix, with writer and executive producer Steve Lightfoot (Hannibal, Casualty) serving as showrunner.

This Marvel Knight was too big to be confined as a supporting role for DD. Of course Jon Bernthal made a splash as the vigilante in his first appearance in Daredevil series 2.

And whatever their plans for The Punisher, just keep Daredevil Season 2 Episode 9in mind, and go beyond it.
