“Captain Britain” series being pitched to Marvel

[Captain] America has been stealing the spotlight for too long. And it seems producer Chris Lark is looking to bring another patriotic hero to the Marvel forefront via TV series: Captain Britain. Here’s what he had to say about the proposed project:

…I’m here to confirm that I and my co-prod Eleni Larchanidou are working on a Highlight Reel for a TV series based on the Marvel Comics character #CaptainBritain for 2017. Right now we are in very early stages of development for this idea and working on things like the budget for this Reel to take to Marvel for 2017 with hopes of them helping us with the series. Well, that’d be… that’d be something. In any case, the pitch would hit Marvel’s desk in 2017, as things are still in the sizzle reel phase.
