“Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D” Grant Ward villainous transformation is revealed

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have turned quite a dramatic corner. Marvel has just confirmed after much speculation that character Grant Ward, played by actor Brett Dalton, has undergone the villainous transformation to become Hive.

The villain appeared in the Secret Warriors storyline, a comic arc which is the main inspiration for the current run of S.H.I.E.L.D. episodes

According to producers Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, this version of Hive “is going to have its own unique twist and be very different from what fans have seen so far. We will see similarities that pay homage to the original character, but fans will see that Hive is taking an exciting new direction in the world of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”
