ABC + Marvel’s “Marvel’s Most Wanted” series pilot confirmed

It looks like Marvel fans can look forward to another spin-off of Agents Of S.H.E.I.L.D. The ABC president officially confirmed a pilot is on it’s way to production for Marvel’s Most Wanted.

But much like the ‘companion series’ for The Walking Dead those involved in the project seem allergic to using the phrase ‘spin-off’, which we guess implies more of a corporate milking of the idea cow rather than a creative new outlet.

In any case Marvel’s Most Wanted is being pitched as an entirely new project that will explore the narratives of two SHIELD characters Bobbi Morse / Mockingbird (played by Adrianne Palicki) and Lance Hunter (played by Nick Blood).

So besides partaking in the Netflix + Marvel canon of Daredevil and Jessica Jones, ABC’s appetite for Marvel is definitely peaking; Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is set to make a turbulent comback Season 3, not to mention Agent Carter returning with Season 2 and that top-secret Marvel by creator John Ridley we’re still waiting on.
