“Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom” trailer

Bandai Namco released their PSX trailer director’s cut for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, and if full on fantasy and whimsy that feels very Studio Ghibli-esque.

A boy that looks like a girl that has fox like ears whose destined to be king of a faraway land that is under the threat of a coup just as a space time traveller drops by and decides to stay and help him out. See. Classic Ghibli.

As it turns out Studio Ghibli composer Joe Hisaishi will return to score the game’s soundtrack, even though Studio Ghibli itself appears to be less involved this time. Must be because of this.
