If you thought that Call Of Duty could not get any more sci-fi, you are dead wrong.

cybercore control. call of duty: black ops iii. the action pixel. treyarch. @theactionpixelIn a couple vids released on Call Of Duty: Black Ops III, we get an exclusive look at the many abilities we have in our arsenal via Cybercore: Chaos & Control. Which look more like techno-sorcery than actual combat. Hijacking robots with the wave of the hand, taking control over UAVs, tapping into a soldiers explosives and having them explode on his person, nano tech robots that look like a swarm of insects that attack enemies by lighting them on fire, hell even taking control of peoples bowel movements and have them vomit (and we’d like to think- shit) themselves to death… all in all, with all these techniques, why would one possibly need a gun?

“Cybercore: Chaos” description reads:

In the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 campaign, your soldier can access cybernetic modifications on the battlefield. The Chaos Cybercore abilities focus on throwing the enemy into a state of confusion.

Check out the vids to see the various hacking and melée techniques in your canon:
