Call Of Duty‘s (Twitter) campaign of viral terrorism
Call of Duty took a page from the radio reading of War of the Worlds 1938 radio reading and took to twitter to ‘live-tweet’ an act of terrorism on the soil of Singapore; Singapore is where the Black Ops III‘s narrative is set to take place.
As you can image, like in 1938, it didn’t go over too well with some.
But if the graphics and the tweets coming from a game handle wasn’t clue enough that the Singapore attack was not real, then, well, we feel sorry for you.
